Lifestyle brand NICCE and British designer Lydia Bolton have come together for the first time ever on a sustainable capsule for SS20. A bespoke ten piece collection, the collaboration sees NICCE garments from previous seasons reimagined by the designer.

Lydia Bolton is a women’s wear label founded in 2019 focused on creating new pieces out of unwanted, second hand garments and textiles. She is dedicated to finding different ways to create and work within the fashion industry that do not require using new resources; but works with reimagining and reusing items that have already been produced. Bolton has reworked classic NICCE staples including tracksuits, jackets and t-shirts into brand new womens shapes for the collaborative project.

NICCE fabrics and design details from previous season’s stock have been transformed into stylised garments in the collection, that all feature Bolton’s signature ruching and pleating techniques.

Reflective fabrics, drawstring toggles, and logo design sourced from classic NICCE lifestyle pieces feature on the garments, which include jackets, skirts and mini dresses.

Each piece celebrates the juxtaposition of the brand and designer’s signature styles, whilst the statement shapes and composition of the collection clearly establishes the power of Bolton’s take on sustainability in her ability to reimagine the brand staples into a completely new aesthetic.

One-off tops including long-sleeved and cropped panelled designs created by Bolton as part of the project are be available to buy on
